The instructions that come with this MP3 player are not very useful. You have to play around with it for a while to figure out how it works through trial and error. As an MP3 player, it's OK. It does work as an FM transmitter, so that you can listen to your podcasts through your car's speakers, and that is the reason I got it. There were only two MP3 players listed on Amazon that transmit an FM signal to your car radio without using the car's cigarette lighter, and this was the cheaper of the two, so I figured I'd give it a try.

The controls are counterintuative. For instance, to scroll up and down you use the left and right buttons, which makes no sense to me, but there you go. The "Menu" button sort of acts like an "Enter" button. Oh well. At least it does work once you figure it out. I can't comment on battery life except to say that I recently played it for over two hours on a car trip, and it did fine. It could go for several more hours for all I know.

Now, it's called an "MP4 Player"? I tried putting an MP4 video file on it just to see if it would work, and the file apparently just disappeared into the void, never to be seen again.

"Games"? I haven't found any games on it.

I would recommend this player if you drive an older car in which the cigarette lighter doesn't work, and you need a way to listen to your podcasts while you drive. Just remember to turn "RF" on while your podcast is playing, tune your radio to match the player's signal, and use the headphone wires as the transmitting antenna. It serves its purpose, for me anyway.
