   I received my SanDisk Sansa View 16MB MP3 Player yesterday. It was damaged upon arrival. It wasn’t the Amazon box that was damaged. Rather, it was simply the crafstmanship of the unit. It was literally coming apart at the seam(s). I sent it back at Amazon’s cost, and they have kindly shipped me (overnight) a replacement at no additional cost. I look forward to sharing my opinion when a healthy unit finally arrives.

   pros; Its small,moderately easy to use, looks Prim

   Cons: when you watch a video, instead of viewing the item portrait-wise(iPod) you have to watch it sideways. the screen is literally about an inch long. WARNING WILL CAUSE MIGRAINS FOR LONG TIME VIEWING PERIODS.and the screen displays movies in widescreen

   inch long screen + widescreen display = migrain

   Shoulda put it back in the box when I noticed the instructions where printed wrong. this player is 2 months old and is MALFUNTIONING.Signed up at the site to report a problem, NADA!

   Never again!

   I live the playlists system and FM radio thing..also u can record it too..
   
   also u dont have to install lousy drive to put music inside.
   
   just insert usb and bam rdy to go..
   
   INCREDIBLE BATTERY LIFE< - on product it says 34hrs for music but it is like 27hrs but thats not so bad huh?!

   bad video..< -dont trust too much on video this may stab ur back..
   
   i have PSP so i use it for watchin movie..big screen…
   
   i dont think it is smart decison for MP3 AND!! VIDEO..
   
   I use it for only MP3<– thats why im giving five

   i have to admit that i was seriously dissapointed with my sansa view. After reading about the sansa view, i honestly believed that it was a great product, so i bought 2 (one for me and one for a friend). The main reason i picked the sansa was for the back up of the SanDisk brand name, which should be great…. after two days of use i was very happy with the device, but all of a sudden, the screen went black and it just stopped working. you could turn it on and the blue ring would shine, but nothing else worked (buttons, screen, etc.). on the other hand my friends device was working “ok”, if it weren’t for the fact that the screen sometimes wouldn’t have a clear image (it would shake and unstable). i wrote the Sansa support team an email, but i never heard back from them. we decided to return the devices, and i’ll defenitly never buy any SanDisk product again, other than their flash memory cards.
