My daughter loved her Latte ipearl (in her favorite color of pink!) One could say she was “tickled pink” with it and uses it during her daily workout! Easy to use, easy to download.
I bought this player for my husband as a birthday gift last week. We got it quickly and it was fully charged right out of the box!! I like that I didn’t have to load software to start using it. I just plugged it in and started loading it with music, pictures and videos. The player is smaller than I expected. The graphics are pretty good. Not the best I’ve seen. The colors are not vibrant, even the sample pictures on the unit didn’t look all that great. It has a great sound through the headphones and from my computer. I haven’t tried the transmitter in the car yet. All in all it’s a great player (8 GB) for the price. Even if it only lasts for a year, it will be worth it!
I have been pleasantly surprised by this product. The negative points I have read in some other reviews have turned out to be the person’s fault and not the device. For example one person complained that the FM transmitter was weak, however, I’ve learned that it was probably because the person didn’t turn the volume up on the player which strengthens the signal. This player is definitely something that you need to play with and experiment. I love it’s sleek design and crisp, vibrant display. My absolute favorite feature is the built-in FM transmitter. I can play my songs through my home stereo system, car radio, etc. without any extra equipment. It’s like having your own radio station! All-in-all this is a great product for the money! (Tip: If the player runs completely out of power, you may need to re-set it in order for it to accept a charge)
I purchased the 4GB from a vendor other than Amazon in July and have recently returned the item due to a faulty earphone jack. The pros for me was the crisp, rich sound of the music. This is a nice little mp3 to have if you’re in it just for the music, although it is full with options for the E-reader, pictures and other miscellaneous things. No FM radio on the 4GB, I can live without it though. I like this MP3 and will probably purchase another latte product with more GB’s. The cons, the buttons can be annoying but this item is still a keeper.

The unit itself is very solid. When you grab the unit, it feels so good. Music and Video quality very compatible with iPod.
FM trasmitter functions are very useful for me because I am driving a lot during the day and I can listen to music stored in my ipearl through my car radio withour any extra connection device.
Only thing bothers me sometimes is,, when you transfer any movies (it supports many video formats actually), you have to resize the movie file fit to the screen. Not too bad though.
I have been really enjoing my ipearl. I love it. Very solid player. Bang for the money. less than $100 for 16GB… NICE. I recommend this!!
