This device should be used only with simple music entries and for video playback. It does not support playlists, which cripples it for audio books and intelligent audio playback. Fortunately, I have some Sansa mp3 players, and will use this primarily for movies.

The description of this player should list it as limited in function. I bought it for audio playback, but it accepts neither playlists nor folders, but takes everything from the .mp3 tag, which is often not suitable without a tag editor and hours of work.

Get this for movies, but avoid it for audio.

1 month ago i purchased the 16GB player and so far very happy with this beauty.
Here's what i thought about latte espresso 16gb.

Sound quality : 3D sound is excellent i played the one mp3 file from my computer HP pavilion e9150 series and this espresso 16gb with same earphone provided with player. i could hear the difference between desktop and player. This player has excellent sound quality!

Menu : This player has haptic function with g-sensor which very easy to use. menu is simple to use categorized by 8 different function.

FM-Transmitter : This player has FM-Transmitter which most of MP3, MP4 players in the market does not come with. It is very good features. Just loaded with your favorite mp3s and play it in the car. AWESOME!

Video : Plays most of common file, as long as keep the resolution size. Good

Good Product with a lots of features which better than ipod.

So I bought this in hopes I would save a few bucks, and still have a nice touch screen. WRONG. I've had over 7 mp3 players over the years, all different brands and they all shredded this player to pieces. This one was tiny. I mean tiny. And it was light as a feather, not always a bad thing, but it felt hollow. Its basically a square piece of plastic. When I hooked it up to my pc is wouldn't connect. Had to get DELL to help me because this players customer service is ridiculous. Finally got it to work once. I threw it in the box and send it back the next day. Two days ago I ordered an ipod touch 16gig. Just stay away from this player. Trust me.

The reason that I bought this player is that it has a built in FM transmitter and many other features. I thought that this would be perfect for road trips. The main problem that I have with this unit is that it is for me almost impossible to get to any of the adjustments while I am driving. The touch screen menus are very challenging for me to see and touch. I would much prefer actual buttons so that I easily change the FM settings. I have big fingers, and it was almost impossible for me to accurately touch the part of the screen that I needed.

My unit came with a defective USB cable. My unit would lose its time and date settings.

I returned this product. It just is not right for me. I should have just gone ahead and purchased an IPOD, but I thought I could get more for my money with the Latte Espresso.

It is getting hanged while connecting to PC for 3 out of 4 times.
It is hard to sustain connection with PC.
Battery life is average.
Even I got broken ear-bud with this mp3 player.
Not satisfied from the product.
