one day i charged my zune i didnt use it at all the whole day then i watched about half a episode of family guy and it went dead, now it isnt charging, whenever i try to charge it the charge sign comes up for about a second and then just dissapears also it doesnt switch on. any suggestions please message me any suggestions will be appreciatted..

I got the same problem 1 week ago…if you got the frozen screen, dont charge anymore the device and then the screen will have the low batery sign and then try to waste the batery life til the end, til you press any botton and the device dont response, then charge it it supposed to work because it resets automaticaly

reboot ur computer and then reconnect it… i did that cuz i had that same thing happen to me and it worked
but mines a 120 if that matters

by reboot do you mean restart the computer or erase the hard drive and re-install zune software??

I just got a 120gb a month ago. Best Buy told me that the battery will not last much more than a year and that it will cost about $80 to have Microsoft replace it each time, and suggested I get a two year service plan for $70, which would take care of two battery replacements and cover any damage due dropping, water, etc. Could someone tell me if the plan is a good idea or a waste of money (as many service plans are)? Thanks in advance for your help.
