The charger does not charge the ipod when plugged in to the wall. I have not tried the car charger yet. I had the ipod plugged in x 24 hours and only about 1/3 charged. It died after playing for only about 10 minutes. The case is nice.

First of all the power cable that is included is way too short, about 1 yard so you might have a problem finding place to leave the player once you plug it it. The case is decent, regular silicone that you would get with any other mp3 player, turns out that for the Sansa clip, you don’t need an over night charger, except if you were to travel, because you can easily charge it up in about an hour at your computer.
